Do you deliver? We deliver to Boston, Cambridge, Somerville, & beyond for a minimum fee of $35. Deliveries are available 11:30am-9:30pm daily
What is poke? Poke is a traditional Hawaiian dish that translates literally to “cut” or “slice”. In its truest form, it is cubed, raw fish marinated in sauce and seasonings.
Is your food raw? When you see poke on our menu, it almost always means raw fish. However, the other protein options on our menu (e.g., Fried Chicken, Kalua Pig, BBQ Salmon, Tofu) are cooked unless otherwise noted.
Can you accommodate allergies? What about Gluten Intolerance? We can accommodate most allergy and dietary restrictions; please let us know in advance and we will communicate adjustments as needed. The majority of our menu items, including our pokes, are gluten free.
Is there a minimum size for catering orders? In general, we are only able to fill orders of at least $100 total (pre-tax). In addition, most packages and individual menu items require a minimum quantity.
How much notice do you need? The more the better! We ask for at least 72 hours. Within reason, we can accommodate many orders with 24-48 hours’ notice.
How and when do I pay? We offer monthly billing for corporate orders. For one-time orders, we ask for a 15% deposit to hold your order. The remainder is charged on the day of your event. Payment information is taken by phone; all major credit cards are accepted. We provide a receipt with delivery and email a digital copy on request.
What do I need to set up? Our Catering Spreads & most a la carte items are best served buffet-style; a long table is usually sufficient. You’ll also need plates, utensils, napkins, and serving utensils if not included with your order. We’ll provide you with menu item labels & allergy info as needed. If you would like help setting up for a large order, we can often send a team member to help if you let us know in advance.
Do you offer tables, chairs, staffing, and/or clean-up? We are not a full-service catering company, so we typically do not provide event set up and staffing.
What if my group is tax exempt? We will need two forms to provide tax exemption for your group: a copy of your ST2 Form and a completed ST5 Form. We recommend emailing digital copies to our inbox (firstname.lastname@example.org).
